Welcome
I'm Ruthie! The gal behind the screen, making, photographing, marketing and posting. It's a one women show and
I am SO grateful you have come along for the ride.
Wildflower Folk Co all started when a friend and I did a one day silversmithing class. One hour into that first lesson (making a cuff) I thought "I could do this for ever" and I have had
silver on my mind every day since.

I have been creating from as early as I can remember. I am the daughter of a maker, my father, and growing up around tools in our workshop I discovered at an early age how to work with my hands.
In my early teen years I would spend my spare time
making jewellery from glass beads.
I began my first job in an arty boutique florist on the day I
turned 14. There I learned how form and beauty are created.
To this day my love for flowers continues, and I grow and sell
seasonal flowers from our farm.
I moved to a new city when I was 17 and started
working for myself as an events floral designer.
Another few moves, a husband, 3 daughters, a peach farm and a lap around Australia later we ended up here, in the NSW Highlands.

Thank you for joining me
Working in my studio gives me so much delight. Every piece of Wildflower Folk Co silver has been crafted by my own hands, in the hope that it will end up in another set of hands, where it will be treasured for a lifetime.
